proMOVE attachment patented!

The Patent Office, by decision of November 20, 2024, granted the Motor Transport Institute a patent for an invention titled: "Attachment for orthopedic equipment dedicated to pedestrians" P. 442575.
The patent is the culmination of the work of the Road Safety Center team and the Diagnostic and Service Processes Department of ITS. proMOVE is a multifunctional attachment for orthopedic equipment dedicated to pedestrian road users developed at the Motor Transport Institute by Dr. Aneta Wnuk, Dr. Beata Stasiak-Cieślak, Dr. Dagmara Jankowska-Karpa and Dr. Piotr Malawko.
The development of the attachment prototype was an element of the statutory work of the Road Safety Centre and the ITS Diagnostic and Maintenance Processes Department, entitled "Development of solutions dedicated to pedestrians moving around using orthopedic crutches in the context of research into the needs of this group of road users in terms of the availability and functionality of elements supporting their movement and improving their mobility and safety."
